Mamarazzi went to pasar and found very young Cakur Manis. Wow, very hard to find young cakur manis. Of course ler she immediately buy it. What was she going to cook the cakur manis with?
Mamarazzi made a dough out of wheat flour + an egg+ some pepper + a bit of salt. Left it for about half an hour.
Boiled water for the soup and tear the dough into small and thin pieces. Throw into the boiling soup. Add the mushrooms, some meatball and the cakur manis.
Yay..kau tim one big pot of home made pan mee. Easy to make and nice to eat.

easy to cook leh :D
i love pan mee =D
wow looks so yummy!!!!!!!!!
wah, i want some..
Is that cangkuk manis? You're supposed to wring it and tear it to shreds - bits and pieces...to get the "manis" out. We do that over here - either for cooking soup or frying...
The pan mee...the dough what measurements? No need to roll into thin flat pieces before tearing? So far, I've tried pan mee once - not a fan. Some of my friends love it a lot!

Paiseh..this one is home made one..not professional

Over here my mom and granny never tear the cakur manis to small pieces. So I also didn't do that. Just tear from the stem, wash and cook.
Learn from mom. No need to put thru the machine. Just tear using hand. Pull till very thin, tear and throw into the pot. The old ways of making pan mee. We call it as "Min Fun Kueh"(cantonese).

Talking about pan mee dough, I have tried once making it myself and it turned out it is sticky. And Sarah also do not likes to eat my pan mee as compared to the restaurant one.
I did not know I should rest the dough...Thanks for the tips.
Joanne
Maybe too much water and didnt rest the dough long enough
